Atelier Cologne Camélia Intrépide is part of the Collection Metal which celebrates the most rare, precious and unexpected ingredients. Released in fall of 2016, Camélia Intrépide is a floral but green scent based around camelia leaves from China. Concentrated at 18% it is pure perfume.
Camélia Intrépide features top notes of Calabrian bergamot, Javanese nutmeg and Sicilian lemon; middle notes of Moroccan iris butter, Grasse violet and Chinese camelia leaves; and base notes of Turkish rose absolue, white leather and amber.
Fragrantica: "A sweetly greenish leathery vibe, with some florals and maybe an impression to eucalyptus, more so tea....more specific, green tea. Camelia Intrepide has a fresh, sharp citrus feel, however the sharpness is just right. This combined with the lite fresh greens and the monstrous, yet quiet leather produces a great fragrance with the Iris hanging in the background."
basenotes: "The opening is a buttery lemon cookie of bergamot, rose, iris and soft camelia sprinkled with a touch of nutmeg. This warm soft opening bite is layered over a dry suede leather and amber base. The overall effect here is a soft leather scent that gets drier and more comfortable as it wears on."
