Calé Fragranze d’Autore was created by Silvio Levi and each fragrance in the line was inspired by short excerpts from stories, flashes of memories and emotions that he wanted to give an olfactory form to.  These fragrances are dedicated to people who like to “listen” to perfumes, allowing the perfumes to win them over with the tales and the magic that emanate from them.  Each perfumer that he worked with learned to penetrate inside Silvio Levi’s stories and translate them into perfumed interpretations.  Preludio d'Oriente was based on A Thousand and One Nights, the allure of the Maharajah's gardens and the love story told by the Taj Mahal.   Created by Silvio Levi and Maurizio Cerizza, Preludio d'Oriente features top notes of bergamot, lemon and mandarine; middle notes of artemisia, incense and chamois leather; and base notes of patchouli, sandalwood and agarwood.  It is an eau de parfum, edp.  The Calé line is not available in the United States.
