  1. Absolutely amazing!

Posted by Colleen on 22nd Jun 2014

This perfume is like the most refined, best quality Japanese joss stick incense! Definately not for the faint-hearted.
I'm from the generation that started burning incense in our homes everyday. So, I've smelled a lot of incense, good, bad, and horrible.
I'm intrigued by the other reviewers comments about this being spicy. To my nose, it's not there, it's not listed in the ingredients, either.
I would describe it as a warm, dry (not sweet) smoky wood, with lots of resinous notes. In other words, pure incense!
It's strong, and long lasting, just wonderful!
    Very unisex!

  2. Some notes here that are too strong for me

Posted by Unknown on 16th Jun 2014

Not sure if it's the very strong patchouli or the benzoin, but something smells very medicinal to me. I'm probably not the best judge of this fragrance, as I don't tend to like most Oriental perfumes, Chanel Coco being the big exception. If you like Obsession, you'll probably love this.

  3. If I can't have vintage Shalimar...

Posted by Merry Rower on 24th May 2014

...than I'll take Coromandel. With gusto. The two are not identical, but they are wrapped in the same luxurious, untied paisley silk robes. Rich, opulent, sensual, deep. A craving in cooler seasons.

  4. It's the full bottle for me

Posted by Jan Last on 5th May 2014

While I didn't faint from happiness, I did wish I had tried this in the early fall. I wore it on one cold day and the scent just blossomed.

  5. Unique and Exotique

Posted by Cynda on 10th Apr 2014

Alluring, dark, smoky, exotic and long lasting. Wild murmurs of seductive passion. I am mesmerized by the fog of this intoxicating and delicious aroma. I swoon at the memory when I am not wearing Coromandel, and relive the excitement when I drown myself in this fragrance of fragrances.

  6. spicy, refined

Posted by Meg on 2nd Jan 2014

A warm, spicy, refined resinous scent with incredible staying power. Even people who "aren't Chanel people" should try this one. It transcends all that.
