Chanel Cuir de Russie is a rich, elegant leather scent done in Chanel's inimitable style. During this era, perfume houses were launching leather and tobacco scents that would help hide that properly brought up young ladies were smoking. This is one of the classic leather scents in existence, and is one that anyone exploring leather or classic fragrances should try.
Chanel Cuir de Russie was moved to the Les Exclusifs series when it was created in 2007.

Smells fabulous!
I was so bowled over by such a unique fragrance. But on my skin it fades fast and doesn't hold the initial wonderful aroma.
I was so sad.

First of all thank you for carrying this. I had been wanting an attainable amount for some time$. I find this scent to be deeply comforting in a confident yet relaxed way. I like heavy fragrances. I wear Prada by Prada to sleep at night. This stays true whilst wearing, and sometimes I add a sparkling floral single note on top. The leather scent is obvious and it only borders on the masculine for me. Lighter fragrance enthusiasts would not appreciate this. But I DO..
