D.S. & Durga El Cosmico was originally a limited edition fragrance which just recently became part of their permanent collection. It was created for the boutique desert property, Liz Lambert's El Cosmico Campground in Marfa, Texas to highlight the unique land in and around Marfa. Creosote shrubs and sumac primed with Chihuahuan mesa woods – mesquite, oak and pinyon pine.
El Cosmico features top notes of desert shrubs, desert pepper and pinyon pine; middle notes of creosote, oak and khelia; and base notes of dry sand accord, khelia and shrub wax. It is an eau de parfum, edp.

You feel wrapped in it, so to speak.."
I'm almost surprised by how much I like this scent. It's true to description -- one whiff and I'm transported to the desert, smelling the earth and cacti get cooked up in a dry heat. I personally love this smell, it's nostalgic and atmospheric to me.
