A Lab On Fire Freckled and Beautiful was released in 2020, created by David Apel. Taking its inspiration from being young in the city of angels, it sets out to bottle the joy of youth. I don't know about all of that but there is an incredible note in this that is like roasted chestnuts. They aren't listed, but some combo of the milk and vanilla and pastry. It is soft, warmed and cozy and one of those addictive fragrances that you just can't seem to stop smelling. I still think there's roasted chestnuts in there wrapped in a croissant. Notes of orange flower, neroli, honeysuckle, warm milk, pastry, salicylates, sandalwood, vanilla bean and heliotrope.
It is an eau de parfum, edp.
A Lab On Fire Freckled and Beautiful Reviews
From Fragrantica - "the bright neroli fades a bit, then you have orange blossom blending with milk and biscuit notes on a vanilla/heliotrope base... This fragrance is so soft, hazy, gently and comforting."
Fragrantica - "so warm, so dainty, gentle, airy, and light.. opens with a toasty note of european digestive biscuits, which quickly leans into milky sweetness: a lovely lactonic accord right at home with fresh but balmy honeysuckle nectar, soft and not remotely green, a beloved scent from my own childhood. sleepy sentimental nostalgia in a bottle. early morning grey-purple sky sleepiness, safe in bed knowing love is real. a mnemonic delight!"
Fragratnica: "it feels like being next to a fragrant honeysuckle bush on a warm day. Holding a buttery croissant"
Fragrantica: "It’s a casual summer fragrance that makes you smell like a child who’s skin smells like the sun. Projects well and the longevity is decent."
