Alkemia Calliope was created by Sharra Lamoureaux in 2014 and is a "A beguiling divertissement of piquant clementine, orange blossoms, white orchid, sugared currants, tonka, and vanilla musk whirled with flirtatious teases of billowy cotton candy floss and kisses of saltwater taffy."
From the brand:
"Happiness is simply a temporary condition that proceeds unhappiness. Fortunately for us, it works the other way around as well. But it's all a part of the carnival, isn't it?”
― Federico Fellini
This is the alcohol-free spray. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is a hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Reddit - "n the bottle this is orange Fanta, cotton candy and indistinct white florals. The fresh bottle is way more fruit forward and the clementine leads (my aged sample leads with orange blossom). There's not a lot of difference between wet stage and dry down except that the spun sugar gets stronger and the orange backs down. This is sweet, fun, flirty and just nice to wear. It smells like summer and the orchid does a nice job of nudging it into adult and vaguely expensive smelling."
Fragrantica - "This is like La Vie Est Belle's younger sister. Very sugary sweet and pink, tempered by the fruitiness of clementines rather than the sharpness of patchouli. The clementine is more like the sweet, canned in nectar kind instead of the fresh sour fruit."
Fragrantica - "Bright, cute orange twines with the cassis and the cotton candy in an almost candied wine like note and the orchid gives a little powder and elegance and the demure touch of sweetness keeps it upbeat. The vanilla is the creamy not too sweet kind and the breezy musk is clean and white, love!"
