Amouage Blossom Love was released in 2017. A riot of gorgeous florals boosted by some rich ambers, booze and vanilla, perfect for spring and summer. Notes of bergamot, heliotrope, amaretto, ylang-ylang, rose, cherry blossom, amber, tonka bean, vanilla and suede.
Cafleurebon - "Blossom Love opens with a hint of powdery heliotrope, a bit of citrus and tangy cherry/almond. This first impression instantly blooms into intoxicating amaretto colored with rose. The effect is vibrant, mouth watering and ultra feminine. The perfume is much more focused and fragrant than even the freshest of cherry blossoms. Christopher Chong, creative director of Amouage, worked with two women perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Elise Benat to create Blossom Love. The perfumers under the direction of Christopher, brought an unabashed femininity to the fragrance that is both comforting and seductive, more complex then I had imagined, unfolding like origami, layer by layer."
Perfume Posse - "I think mostly that’s what Blossom Love is – a warm spring/summer day with a slight breeze. It is very feminine and lovely to wear. You won’t be crossing your eyes all day trying to figure out what weird thing it is doing. But perfumes don’t need to and shouldn’t always do that. You will walk and smell the trailing spring and feel nothing but love. In the long drydown, there is a relaxing into that vanilla and tonka – sorta like the end of that beautiful summer day. This is one that I will be wearing a lot this spring and summer."
