Amouage Myths Woman was released in June of 2016. Taking its inpsiration from surrealism, it has notes of narcissus, violet leaves, galbanum, carnation, patchouli, ambergris accord, leather, moss and musk. A gorgeous green floral with a hay-like musky leather touch.
Fragrantica: "I love Myths. I love its evocation of a garden after rain, with good black earth full of growing things."
Kafkaesque - "Amouage‘s new Myths for Women was not what I had expected. There was the welcome, happy surprise of carnation as its driving focus, instead of the litany of white florals that have dominated so many of the brand’s recent releases. Red but drenched with greenness, hot but chilly, the carnation was a beautiful note that took me even further off guard with the way its companions — my ultimate green nemeses, violet leaf and galbanum — somehow recreated a passing impression of one of my favourites, hyacinth, from its liquid floralcy to the venomous bitterness of its sap. It’s a brief and wholly impressionistic touch, but I was delighted."
Perfume Posse - "Amouage Myths Woman has notes of narcissus, violet leaves, galbanum, carnation, patchouli, ambergris accord, leather, moss and musk. It is a green floral that opens with a lovely galbanum and violet leaf. Mossy green starts rounding and roughing this up, turning over forkfuls of hay (narcissus), leather and earth. Patience as you wait for the florals to unfurl and tame some of that rich, loamy, mossy leather. This one had less discord than Amouage Myths Man, but there is some pieces that don’t want to quite fit together, but it makes it no less beautiful for the parts that won’t fit together but can sit side by side."
