Amouage Sunshine is an oriental floral fragrance that joined the Midnight Flower collection. It was launched in 2014 as an exclusive to the Amouage boutiques and became available in the United States in 2015. Notes of almond, davana, black currant, osmanthus, jasmine, vanilla, magnolia, cade, patchouli, papyrus and white tobacco. Plush, happy, fresh floral. Not simple happiness, but complex, the kind that feels joy all the more because of the sorrow that surrounds it.

In the opening almost all of the notes listed are identifiable. A delicious almond and citrusy osmosis, a slightly jarring early note like tobacco waiting to be rolled and some bitter herbal artemesia. The magnolia and the osmosis. The current is more subtle but you definately get some fruity undertones, but they blend well with the citrusy floral. About an hour in it there was a bit of a smokey note.
The vanilla carries a bit of the almond scent with it. The whole time the osmosis is dominate. Nothing is ever muddy or perfumey or boring. It is lovely.

Not for me. Sunshine is a happy scent. Very well blended but the tobacco note is a deal breaker for me.
