Agarwood or Aoud forms in Aquilaria trees as a resinous heartwood when they become infected with a type of mold. This produces over many years an aromatic resin that gets richer and smoother the longer it is aged. The resin is slightly bitter, but deep. These are some of the best aoud/oud scents available. Three rich selections. My favorite is the Dior, followed closely by Killian. The Montale is a rose bomb but I'm not complaining even though I'm not fond of overly floral scents. It is a fresh, unisex rose. The other two are complex and balanced and not oud-forward on my skin. The Dior is intoxicating and I will probably buy a full bottle.
