Great Gift for Girls
Dior Dolce Vita - Sweet, simple, easy. My husband said I smelled fruity and sweet and I pretty much agree. Very nice, but probably more for a teen girl than for me. Lancome Tresor - Clean, soapy, sweet, apricot, long finish which ends in lovely warm vanilla. This makes me think of a rich, blade girl with a perfect ponytail. Think a girl who carries a Le Pliage tote as a book bag. Very nice, young, fresh, inoffensive. Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau - This is a tough one. On first smell I was not a fan. I got burnt sugar upfront and very strong (verging in a headache) after that initial note fads the rest of the perfume is so soft and lovely. Weirdly after multiple applications I started to like that first assaulting note...if you can stand it and pay attention to it (and trying it in very light application) it opens up and you get a milk, bread and soft burnt sugar at the boulagerie vibe. I joke with my husband that I smell like a burnt cream puff. But this is really not for everyone, and you have to be willing to have multiple experiences with it. Works better as spray, it needs air.
