Caron Parfum Sacre was created by Jean-Pierre Bethouart in 1990. Woods and incense, soft, classic, with vanilla touches to fuzz the woody edges. This is zen and contemplative, a scent like nothing else, which is one of the hallmarks of the House of Caron. If you don' t know what you're in the mood for, Parfum Sacre could be the thing. It's warm and cuddly and wraps you in. It is an eau de toilette, edt.

    Creamy rose incense

A soft, slightly sweet creamy rose and incense with hints of woods and spices. I actually find it to be very feminine and cuddly like a fuzzy pale rose sweater. The opening is a bit rough though and smells like the chlorinated pool water at the end of a day. Also can be interpreted as celery but it may be the myrrh. This fades quickly, however. Nice for cool weather but light enough for warm months as well. I would like to compare it to the older version.

    Dry Spice and Wood

I heard so many references to this I had to try it. It is a wonderful dry, spicy, woody fragrance but the dry wood goes to masculine on me.I can wear it, and it is truly a wonderful fragrance, but it just feels too masculine on me. I have the same difficulty with Chanel Sycamore, Coromandel, and Teo Cabanel's Alahine. If you like any of these you will probably love this.
