Carthusia has launched The Essence of Central Park, a new fragrance in collaboration with the Central Park Conservancy (the nonprofit organization responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Central Park). Inspired by the Park’s natural beauty, it was created by Carthusia working with the Garden Curator of the Central Park Conservancy, Diane Schaub, to craft this unique scent, reminiscent of the magnificent Spring and Summer blooms in Central Park. Capri and Central Park in blossoming spring - two legendary and inspiring worlds in harmony with each other.

It is a hesperidic, unisex fragrance that has top notes of bergamot, lemon, tangerine, artemisia, lavender and a sea accord; middle notes of magnolia, neroli, lily of the valley, geranium, pink pepper and carnation; and base notes of vetiver, amber, elemi resin, vanilla, tonka bean and white musks. (This information came directly from the Carthusia website. There are other websites that state that winter honeysuckle and linden are notes in this fragrance.) It is a profumo.
