Standing on the cliffs looking out to the ocean. The feel of salty sea breeze on a cloudy day. The smell of a storm rolling in. COLORNOISE Coast Mood Perfume is designed to capture the mood, essence, and smell of the pacific northwest coast. This is a subtle, fresh yet darker unisex scent, and will change slightly depending on the wearer's skin. With notes of sea salt breeze, cloudy skies, dark cypress and briny driftwood. Coast is a perfume.
COLORNOISE Mood Perfumes are a collection of synesthesia-inspired perfumes, each correlating to a different mood or feeling. Synesthesia is a rare and naturally occurring neurological phenomenon where a person's senses get switched around. This could result in the ability to smell colors, taste words, see sounds, or endless other variances. Mood Perfumes contemplate the question: what would this feeling smell like?

Reddit: Fresh, bracing, and a little cool, this one immediately smelled GOOD to me, but, when I put it on my skin? It started to bother me. It didn't smell BAD, per se, just not like ME. A solid 2/5. It honestly smelled a little bit like that lingering aroma when I'd spent an extended period snuggled up against a hot guy who smelled good. Yeah, like that. So I did what any devious clever woman would do and put that sample right with my husband's things. He can take a hint and dutifully wore it. Well, that 2/5 rocketed straight up to a 4.5/5. We were both quite pleased {{insert bow chicka wow wow music)}} with how that worked out, so that baby got full-sized.
Reddit: Applies as a straight marine. The driftwood, cypress and “grey skies” note is very strong in this one. The projection does give me more oceanic note than up close, where all I get is a damp wood once the marine note softens a bit, but I then did purchase Adrift to wear with it so hopefully that balances out. Also as a note, once rested, this one does have a less sharp sting of “briny driftwood” to me. The cloudy note to me smells a bit like the water is murky, not in a dirty way, just in a way where I think there might be something slightly nefarious in it.
