Erik Kormann's favorite fragrance is Javanol. Javanol is a synthetic ingredient that is used as an equivalent to sandalwood but also has a quiet woodsy character combined with a fruity-floral side with a delicate sweetness. He created September with Javanol as the heart of the fragrance and added eight other notes for a total of nine ingredients to symbolize the ninth month of the year. It features top notes of orange and grapefruit; middle notes of Javanol, sandalwood, Iso-E Super, floral notes; and base notes of woods, musk and ambergris. It is an eau de toilette, edt. This fragrance is not available in the United States.
