  1. Lovely and layered 4 Star Review

Another from ELDO that I had to try based on the descriptions and reviews. I found it quite pleasing. The cigarette smell is definitely there with the jasmine, but I experience it much more like opening a fresh pack than sniffing a used ashtray. Because of that note, there's a sense of taboo to it, like a woman who's not afraid to break rules and likes what she likes no matter what anyone else thinks of her. That attitude is quite attractive to me, and wearing something that evokes that can feel strong and bracing at times. The tobacco also alleviates the sweetness of the floral, something that I think needs to happen sometimes with heavy jasmine or similar floral scents.

  2. ashtray 1 Star Review

If you can wax romantic about the smell of cigarettes, this perfume is a realistic rendering of it, along with white floral that suggests a smoking woman. I apparently hate the smell of cigarettes. After reading all the positive reviews for this perfume, I kind of hoped it would be more abstract or more like high end unsmoked tobacco. Nope.

  3. A Happy Memory 5 Star Review

Jasmin et Cigarette reminds me of an older female cousin, a smoker when nice girls didn't. I thought her quintessentially glamorous. The sweet odor of cigarette smoke always lingered in her clothing. I think cigarettes smelled better in those days before the tobacco companies included "additives". This is how I remember her smell-- a young woman and her cigarette.

  4. Easy to wear 4 Star Review

This found an immediate place in my high rotation list.
