Fantome Vasilisa has notes of Clover honey (*vegan), neroli, chamomile, dry hay, rich tonka, vanilla, a flower crown of marigolds & sunflowers. From the brand - "This scent was created to evoke the Russian countryside, and is reminiscent of summer solstice celebrations of old—complete with flower crowns, freshly harvested clover honey, hay, and a field of wild flowers. The dryness of the hay and chamomile plays against the richness of the clover honey and tonka. Combined with the earthy, lightly floral scent of sunflowers and spiciness of the marigold, it evokes a radiant aura of honey and sunflowers under a warm pagan sun."
Fantome perfumes are indie, small batch handmade and vegan. This is a perfume oil.
Reddit - "I freaking love this. I spent a little over three years living in Russia, and this just makes me think of an idyllic afternoon that I spent sitting by the river in Suzdal, slowing getting drunk on Medavuha (honey liquor, essentially Russian mead) with my friend Anna. The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful and everything was so fresh and quiet after the bustle of Moscow. This smells of honey from happy bees who've been flitting from flower to flower and it makes me painfully nostalgic."
Reddit - "Smells like a chamomile cinnamon bun! Upon initial application, the chamomile is very strong. I think it's the marigold and clover honey that gives me the "cinnamon bun" smell. It dries down to be very sweet and delicious. This is definitely a yellow scent! I will be full sizing this one!"
Reddit - "Honey and hay. While I love the smell of real honey, it’s not my favourite in perfume - I find it has an almost animalic quality that is difficult to wear. It works really well with the dry hay smell, though, giving it almost a barn vibe that I’m really digging, but the honey makes it quite sweet and golden. Oh! I figured out what it reminds me of: chamomile tea with a big spoonful of clover honey. When I was a kid, I use to get my cup of tisane, and a spoonful of honey, and just dip the spoon in the cup, eat the honey all warm and slightly herbal, and then drink the tea unsweetened. This is what this perfume smells like."
