Reddit: "Apparition, honestly, reminds me of Loup Garou with more "depth". It's not as still and cold, and I think that's due to that whisper of vanilla and woodiness of.. maybe birch? I hate to compare fragrances from different brands but Apparition is like a better version of Alkemia's Ghost Fire."
Reddit - "This immediately reminds me strongly of B&BW’s discontinued Cashmere Glow. It has the same deep, rich, cuddly vanilla feel and they have super similar starting points. However, on the dry down journey, this one has the amber/ pale woods combo and therefore leans darker. I like that about it A LOT. There’s a touch of personal nostalgia and then a twist ending. It’s also striking me as a vanilla version of Le Chat Noir/ Moonstone to my nose because it has the same light, ethereal quality. It’s gotta be the ambers. Each of them is obviously different but feel like the same family, if that makes sense."
Indie Scent Library: "This creates an atmosphere that reminds of some of my favorite black and white ghost stories from the 60s. I see the headlights flashing on trees at the end of The Haunting, or a spectre in the window in The Innocents. The musk from the aftershave of the homeowner you never see, you always just miss but their presence lingers throughout the manor. Vanilla poured into a pot of tea by a housekeeper you can tell has ill intentions but can’t quite put your finger on what exactly it is about her. The earthy, airy smell of a tree illuminated in the dark by a flash of lightning. This is somehow, all at once, comfortable and sexy with a touch of warning, of what I’m not sure of…spirits? People? Whatever’s hiding in the woods?"
