Hilde Soliani is the Italian “gourmand” queen. Mmm differs because while it is inspired by food it is not a dessert fragrance but a main course from the famed Le Calandre in Padova. It is a “deconstructed ravioli of burrata butter on a bed of incense and basil”. Mmm is a tribute to basil – a clean, woody basil with the addition of vanilla which creates the butter-like burrata cheese accord. Mmm features notes of basil, vanilla, incense and burrata accord. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Black licorice and pencil shavings. Sounds weird, but it works."
Fragrantica - "It's a nice herb-spiced incense scent on me, nothing stinky cheesy about it. Burrata cheese is made from mozzarella and cream, it is also sometimes defined as having an outer shell of mozzarella and filled inside with a mixture of butter and sugar. Mmm got even nicer as it dried down, it's more of a slightly sweet, herb scent that is wonderfully balanced. It is reminiscent of a green forest scent, like walking in the middle of the woods while inhaling the air where there is a sweetness mixed with smokiness to it. Great longevity and I like getting whiffs of it throughout the day, by the end of the day I have fallen for this one from Hilde Soliani."
