Défilé New York eau de parfum, edp, was created by Histoires de Parfum's Gerald Ghislain for Fashion's Night Out in New York City in September. Only 150 bottles were created and were sold at Henri Bendel's the night of the event. This fragrance was created to pay tribute to the annual Fashion's Night out celebration held each year in New York City. The name comes from défilé de mode (French for fashion show) and features top notes of mint, bergamot and cut grass (from the Bryant Park tents and the new Lincoln Center location, just steps away from Central Park's grassy lawns and flowers). The middle notes are water flowers, pineapple, rhubarb, clove, cinnamon and star anise (ushering out the marine and citrus notes of summer and bringing in the scents of Autumn harvest). Base notes include coffee, chocolate, licorice (from the backstage of the runway) and blond woods and vanilla (which come from the walls and floors of the Lincoln Center. Absolutely stunning and so sad it's such a limited edition!
