Huda Beauty The Kayali Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 was launched in 2023. Created by Fabrice Pellegrin, and the first perfume from Kayali for men, it was created for everlasting love. Notes of jasmine, tea leaves, white musk, cedarwood, benzoin and sandalwood.
From the brand - "Designed as an ode to everlasting love, Mona and Hassan created The Wedding Collection to wear on their special day. Aptly named after the silk gown Mona wore and the velvet suit Hassan wore on their wedding day. The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 and The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 were inspired by and are bound by the strength of creamy Sandalwood. Also known as Santal, this hero note grounds each scent while also glorifying the unique blend of decadent ingredients found in each bottle. Timeless when worn alone yet amplified when layered together, these juices are made to be shared and celebrate love in all its forms."
Huda Beauty The Kayali Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 is the edp, eau de parfum.
Fragrantica - "Just like the name suggests, Velvet Santal | 35 is creamy, woody and velvety. It's a great new addition to the Kayali collection being their first ever fragrance for men, which can also be seen as unisex. I think Hassan did a great job at creating such a classy scent that immediately allows you to create beautiful memories with. This perfume will get you hooked on its magnetic blend of gentle Jasmine, refreshing Tea and White Musk, accompanied by the velvety warmth of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Benzoin."
Fragrantica - "This is very well rounded and smooth and delicate. I also get a bit of a marzipan/ cherry from it, I’m not sure if it’s just me. The woody notes are also very creamy and velvety, not sharp at all. Also, I was worried that this would smell too masculine or cologney, but it is not like that at all! It is perfectly unisex."
Fragrantica - "I love this one more than the silk santal ( tho I love them both) Velvet Santal is giving me Santal Complet by Fragrance Du Bois vibes without the coconut. And I see why it’s called velvet Santal because it’s definitely smooth."
