Description

Incense Perfumes are some of the most varied and popular in the perfume world.  The tree resins that are burned as incense are also among the most important ingredients in perfumery. In fact, the word "perfume" comes from the word "fume," or smoke.

This sampler contains 3 very different scents, each highlighting a different aspect of incense fragrances.

  1. Comme des Garcons Zagorsk - white incense, pine, violet, cedar, iris, hinoki.  A great example from the very popular Comme des Garcons Incense series
  2. L'Artisan Passage d'Enfer  - incense and lilies, just beautiful
  3. Unum Lavs- Jasmine, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Elemi, Coriander, Clove, Labdanum, Opoponax, Palisander Rosewood, Amber, Oakmoss, Tonka Bean make up this perfect churchy scent.

Ever wonder what the Pope smells like?

Now you can know! These three samples were all great and each one is unique. I loved all of them. This is strictly church incense, though. The is no Nag Champa here.
