Jo Malone Frangipani Flower is a gorgeous tropical floral fragrance that features top notes of jasmine petals and lemon; middle notes of frangipani and ylang-ylang; and base notes of sandalwood and benzoin. It is a cologne.

Also known as plumeria, frangipani has a bright, intoxicating fragrance that will transport you to tranquil, tropical sun-drenched beaches. It is the essence of island life. In Polynesian culture, a woman wearing a frangipani flower behind her right ear means she is looking for love. If she wears it behind her left ear she is spoken for. In Bali, it is often planted near temples because its beautifully fragranced flowers are used as offerings to the gods. In India, the flowers represent the happy couple’s loyalty and commitment at weddings and in China it is given as a sign of unspoken love. For Hindus and Buddhists, the plumeria’s ability to survive even when removed from the soil, means it has come to signify immortality.

Jo Malone Frangipani Flower Reviews

cafleurebon: "Jo Malone Frangipani Flower Cologne opens like a cool morning in the tropics. As the sun rises, an exquisite and careful use of sweetened citrus gives the impression of a very bright and effervescent iced lemon fizz."

colognoisseur: "Frangipani Flower opens on a sunburst of lemon and jasmine. This is given a lighter feel as the lemon adds sparkle to an already expansive jasmine. Jasmine and frangipani are related so that the shift to a different kind of floral sweetness is done in tiny steps until you realize something is different."
