Description

L'Artisan The Pour un Ete was launched in 1995, created by Olivia Giacobetti.  It is a gorgeous aromatic green tea fragrance.  Just like a glass of chilled jasmine tea with lemon! It opens strong with the lemon, but the jasmine and tea start emerging.

Reviews of L'Artisan The Pour un Ete

From Makeup Alley - "This is the most breathtaking lemon-jasmin tea scent in the world. If I sound like I'm gushing I am. I am not a fan of tea scents but really, the tea burns off quickly and I am left with my wrist glued to my nose, sucking in the most psychedelic, mind bending jasmin I've ever smelled."

From Basenotes - "fter a few minutes, the jasmine warms and becomes the focal point; the scent becoming a Jasmine Tea scent, rather than a green tea and jasmine scent. I am now sitting in the Drake Hotel near the edge of a bubbly fountain, sipping my unstrained jasmine tea. The jasmine goes slightly grapey here, but it somehow never smells boiled. If I press my nose directly to it, I can almost feel the velvet rubber of petals."

    Lemon and jasmine

On first whiff there is a strong lemon fragrance; not in a bad way (not like a lemon-scented cleaning product). It combines with a lot of floral, jasmine being the clearest. I don't really get any tea scent, even after an hour. Overall, it's a very pleasant scent, but less dry and more floral than I'd anticipated.

    perfect summer scent!

Jasmine, tea, lemon, mint...what's not to love here? I'm so glad I tested this scent. It really is like summertime in a bottle. Not the heavy, grimy, sauna like atmosphere of summers in the city. This is sunshine with a cool drink and a sweet breeze swirling around to keep things comfy. This is beautiful to sleep in, windows thrown open, dreaming away. Blowing through the jasmine in my mind indeed. Spray with abandon...you'll undoubtedly need to.

    Tart Earl Grey

From the get-go, I get lemon jasmine Earl Grey tea, replete with a ton of bitter bergamot. This is a great concept for those who like their black tea with a squeeze of lemon juice. It doesn't last long.
