This listing is for a 4 oz. boxed bottle of Leeming-Pfizer Skinny Dip Lemon Cologne. The bottle is in very nice condition and the box shows a bit of shelf wear.

Skinny Dip was released in 1970 by Leeming, a division of Pfizer. It is a fresh lemony cologne style scent. The 1970s were a big decade for lemon fragrances. There was Skinny Dip, Love’s Fresh Lemon, Love’s Musky Lemon, Goya Aqua Citric, Charles Ritz Jean Nate, Max Factor Citrus Musk, Wrisley Lemon Twist, Max Factor Lemon Cologne and Revlon Wild Lemon. Skinny Dip was also available in Original (a soft citrus floral) and Strawberry.

In the mid-1970s Skinny Dip offered a solid cologne compact like the Coty Sweet Earth fragrances. The scents in that compact were Twist O’Lemon, Wild Strawberry, Tangy Tangerine and Mad Melon.

Actress Sandy Duncan appeared in a commercial for Skinny Dip cologne. She plays a plain everyday girl who gets no attention from men until she puts Skinny Dip on and then suddenly she is surrounded by men.

Skinny Dip Lemon was discontinued sometime around 1977.
