Les Parfums de Rosine Le Muguet de Rosine is limited edition fragrance that was launched in 2015. It was created as a special limited edition fragrance in honor of May 1st, La Fête du Muguet – the day when people give bouquets of lily of the valley flowers to friends and family as a token of affection. This tradition started in 1561 when King Charles IX of France was given lily of the valley flowers on May 1st. He liked the gift, and so each year on the first day of May, he presented lily of the valley flowers to the ladies of his court.
This Le Muguet de Rosine is not the same fragrance which was created a number of years back and discontinued. This version was created by Nicolas Bonneville and features top notes of bergamot and pear; middle notes of lily of the valley, Turkish rose absolute and Egyptian jasmine; and a base note of white musk. It is a beautiful lily of the valley fragrance; not a soliflore but a more contemporary interpretation with lots of fruit and beautiful jasmine which is perfect for the warm weather. Le Muguet de Rosine is an eau de parfum, edp.
