Louis Vuitton Contre Moi i am amber floral, created by Jacques Cavallier.. Contre Moi means "against me." Intended to smell like skin against skin. Cavellier describes it - "an Oriental that isn’t too edible, too caramel and cheap... with dirty notes for sensuality... " It has notes of vanilla, orange blossom, cacao, ambrette seed, rose and magnolia.
Louis Vuitton is a French luxury fashion company - famous for their gorgeous and distinctive bags and the LV monogram. Founded in 1854, it was folded into LMVH, which has the brands of Moet et Chandon, Hennessy and Louis Vuitton.
Fragrantica - "Expensive smelling, delicious, narcotic, fresh and sweet from vanilla & white floral bouquet x citrus, Contre Moi is such a private pleasure."
Fragrantica - "The opening is quite smokey (think of Margiela’s Fireside fragrance, or various Tom Fords), but the suggestion soon turns green and sweet. The orange blossom makes its presence, and then a green, herbaceous vanilla accompanies it. This is, indeed, not the typical “cookie-like” syrupy imitation vanilla extract note — rather, think of a raw vanilla pod broken open, which evokes much of its earthy, plant nature."
Basenotes - "It is a grown up approach to a fun fruity scrumptious pear that has dominated many perfumes targeted at a younger demographic. The pear note allows the wearer to communicate a fun and jovial side while the cocoa and magnolia ensure a modicum of seriousness is maintained."
