Maison Martin Margiela Replica Tea Escape Reviews

From Makeup Alley - "This is the most beautiful tea scent I have ever tried. It is real tea I can smell, real fresh Matcha and real Mate, combined with a very gentle and soft sweetness, nothing sugary (which would annoy me again) just a very soft sweetness of planty jasmine in the basenote. No disturbing side notes of woods, patchouly or a hundred flowers, just real teas, freshness, softness, total relaxation. It also isn' t a typical summer or winter scent, it can be worn in any season."

From The Velvet Life - "memory of a moment of quiet reflection. Around you, the city bustles, noisy and frenetic. At the heart of chaos is a break from the daily rush: a silent alcove behind a veil of steam and the rich vapors of green tea."

    Creamy. luxurious, lovely

I love this scent. When I was a kid beanie babies were all the rage, especially the Princess Di one. It was sold out everywhere, and then we were driving up to Canada and the Duty Free store had a promotion: buy $100 basket of Guerlan's Champs-Élysées, lotions, perfume etc and you would get the Princess Di bear. Anyway my mom bought the basket, I got the bear, but then for years I'd open the lotions and bottles to sniff them, and this smells like what those lotions smelled like in the early 2000s to me, which is to say, very creamy, slightly sweet, rich but light. I don't really know exactly how to describe it, but I love it.

    Fresh and beautiful!

I loved this! Immediately reminded me of a good quality Jasmine Green Tea, which is my favorite kind without question. It softened a bit with time, but left me with lingering sweetness, like a good aftertaste from the end of that cup of tea.
