Memo African Leather was launched in 2015 from the Paris design house of Memo as part of the Cuirs Nomades series (leather scents). Inspired by the Serengeti, full of life and wild. It has notes of bergamot, cardamom, saffron, cumin, geranium, patchouli, agarwood (oud), leather, vetiver and musk.
This is an EDP, eau de parfum.
From Fragrantica - "Favorite scent in my wardrobe.. Nothing smells like it.. Very dry leather.. A cumin bomb that some people fin as a sexy (or stinky) sweat."
From Basenotes - "Essentially the pipe tobacco topnotes of Hermes Ambre Narguille (like Tobacco Vanille's famous cedar/clove/chrysanthemum/honey mix with extra fruit and dusted with cinnamon), but with leather in the base instead of vanilla or amber. It works remarkably well. There's a big ash note that often bothers me in pipe tobacco perfumes that fits perfectly here, acting as a bridge between the tobacco and the leather. "
From Luckyscent - "It is seductive, addictive, alluring, sweet, leathery, creamy, musky and spicy. I cannot get enough of this juice. It is my niche replacement for La Nuit L’homme. It’s better but it has some similarities. I just cannot iterate how great this stuff is."
