Ormonde Jayne Nawab of Oudh was launched in 2012, created by Geza Schoen in collaboration with the line's owner and founder, Linda Pilkington. Part of the Four Corners of the Earth collection, it is inspired by different flora in the parts of the world Pilkington has visited.
Inspired by Central India and the Nawabs who once ruled the land, it has notes of green, bergamot, orange, cardamom, aldehyde, rose, magnolia, orchid, pimento, bay, cinnamon, Hedione, ambergris, musk, vetiver, labdanum and oudh.
Ormonde Jayne Nawab of Oudh is an eau de parfum, edp.
From Fragrantica - "One of the few fragrances that I rate 11/10. This is a masterpiece and my most worn fragrance. Will always have this in my arsenal! Works for dates, work, summer, winter, spring, fall, special events, everything!"
From Kafkaesque - "Instead, Nawab of Oudh is in harmonious balance; this is a superbly well-blended perfume that throws off notes the way a chandelier throws off prisms in the light. I am strongly tempted to add the phrase “it’s beautiful” to the end of every paragraph, but I fear I will sound like a broken record before I’m halfway finished. Nonetheless, my God, is this perfume beautiful!"
