Description

Isparta is a gorgeous chypre oriental that is getting great buzz in the perfume world. Isparta is named after a province in Turkey which is famed for its rose oil obtained from a variety called Isparta Summer Roses. The roses are picked early in the morning when they are half open and their fragrance is the strongest. These roses have a rich, intense, slightly spicy scent. Isparta is the perfect jammy rose fragrance blended with resins and animalic notes to give it the perfect balance. It features top notes of red berries and rose; middle notes of peru balsam, calamus and patchouli; and base notes of olibanum, benzoin, agarwood (oud), ambroxan and moss. Isparta is an eau de parfum, edp.

    I bought this

And I love it. Rich berries, rose, and patchouli without being too sweet. Not the longest lasting perfume in the world, but cheerful and fun. I bought a FB.

    Dusky rose

Berries, jammy rose with slightly musty patchouli and oud-ish woods. Sweet initially but not cloying. The sweetness lessens as it dries down. Some have compared it to Portrait of a Lady which I can see, but I find this more wearable for everyday. Great for cool weather. Pretty good longevity (at least 6 hours sprayed lightly). I'm enjoying it.
