Regime des Fleurs Leis was created as part of the Oahu project in 2018 by perfumer Mathieu Nardin. It has notes of ginger lily, pua kini kini, frangipani, tuberose, jasmine sambac, black salt, amgergris.
There are five fragrances in this series - Falls, Leis, Shells, Vines and Waves. They are called Personal/Space and meant for the skin, hair and the air. Beautiful, each, on their own, the sum of all five together truly does take you to Oahu - rocks, saltwater breezes, green, white florals.
From Vogue - "“It was the adventure of a lifetime,” Raza says, still a bit incredulous, recalling their self-guided tour of the Hawaiian island, courtesy of Jason Grosfeld (who hosted them at the Ritz Carlton Waikiki) and curator Nu Nguyen. “We kept talking about this sensation we had every day: ‘We can’t tell where our skin stops and the air begins,’”
From Fragrantica - "On the drydown, the salt recedes a bit and the lushness of the jasmine and ginger lily warms and rounds, as if the sea breeze has softened after sunset and the scent of the flowers at the border between the beach and rainforest can linger around you more intimately."
