NÜWA is the second fragrance in Roja Dove's Imperial Collection. This collection pays homage to empires and legends. While Diaghilev was inspired by the Ballet Rousse and an homage to the founder of the Russian Ballet, Serge Diaghilev, NÜWA is inspired by the legend of Nüwa, a Chinese goddess, who is said to have created man and woman and to have filled all flowers with fragrance. His quote regarding this fragrance is: "This perfume took over two years to complete and according to Dove "is a liquid narrative that will seduce the soul with the scent of leather, flowers, moss, herbs and spices". NÜWA features top notes of lemon and bergamot; middle notes of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, immortelle and blackcurrent bud; and base notes of black pepper, clove, cumin, oakmoss, vetiver, patchouli, orris, ambergris, cistus, labdanum, storax and birch. It is a parfum.
