Thierry Blondeau Cuir Extreme

Thierry Blondeau, writer of the perfume blog Olfactorum, has released his own fragrance line available in Paris. He is quoted as saying "I simply can’t prevent myself from creating fragrances”. Cuir Extreme is a smoking leather fragrance just dripping in smoky birch (one of my favorite notes)!! Thierry states that leather is a fantastic material; its qualities, its textures, its reflections. He says that leather perfumes are his favorite family and the smoky birch tar is the smell he loves. It reminds him of a crackling fire in winter, tar that protected the boots of Russian soldiers or the finest Italian leather to protect them. Cuir Extreme features top notes of bergamot and black pepper; middle notes of rose absolute, incense and Lapsang Souchong tea; and base notes of juniper, birch and patchouli. It is a perfume.
