Tom Ford Lavender Extreme was a 2019 fragrance released in the Private Blend collection. "Lavender is upended, translated from its storied origin in Provence and into a fresh subversion of itself." Lavender is a common note in perfumes, and Tom ford modernizes it with some very warm notes. They used different varietals to give it a robust lavender start.
So you start out with a serious amount of lavender aimed right at you and then there is this slightly gourmand heart that warms the lavender in pure creamy comfort.
Notes of lemon, violet, lavender, geranium, rose, cinnamon, tonka.
From Luckyscent - "A luxury scent, not overpowering. Mildly sweet and creamy with a little spice."
From Zoe Report - "At the finish, you're treated to warmth and luxury via Oriental tonka bean and benzoin, both of which contribute a rich, creamy glow."
From Really Ree - "It is fresh and green, but not too green, and love how the warm, creamy tonka bean mixes in and gives it an almost soft gourmand feel."
From Persolaise - "But on skin, it stays just on the right side of ‘sophisticated’, granting dear old lavender more elegance and relevance than a mainstream brand has managed to give it for some time."
