The only perfume my husband actually likes. Soft sweetnesss rounded out by nice nutty notes, brought to life by very light citrus notes. Very well balanced, lasts quite a while. Absolutely adore.
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc joined the Private Blend line in early 2016. Inspired by endless summer in the islands, it is a floral oriental with floral and amber notes created by Natalie Gracia-Cetto. Notes of pistachio, bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper, tuberose, ylang, jasmine, coconut, amber, tonka bean and benzoin.
From the brand - "Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is unexpected, sultry and addictive solar floral scent. It evokes emote private islands where summer lasts all year. Tom Ford’s latest private blend creation unapologetically exudes the endless pursuit of sun and luxury that defines Tom Ford Soleil. The top note of the unisex fragrance combines spicy notes of cardamom and pink pepper with a hint of pistachio and bergamot. Flowery sensuality of ylang ylang, Egyptian jasmine and tuberose are placed in the heart of the fragrance for carnal intensity. Benzoin a herbal substance contained in oil of bitter almonds, amber, tonka bean and coconut milk form the luxurious base."
Tom Ford Private Blend has released a prodigious number of fragrances, ranging from the amazing to the weird to the slightly kinky. Not all of them are masterpieces, but they usually are as interesting as Tom Ford.
Fragrantica - "Sultry Italian afternoon. You are lying on the terrace on a lounger, drinking a delicious coconut cocktail. The sun gently caresses your body, drops of water mixed with your sunblock and flow down your body. Very cool summer scent"
Fragrantica - "This perfume is PERFECT for hot summer. It’s smells like skin that was kissed by ocean and sun. I agree that there is something that hints to sun lotion. But, I have to say that this is really elegant, sophisticated and attractive fragrance. The opening bursts with pistachio and bergamot. Then, in couple minutes I start feeling ylang ylang, jasmin and tuberose. And then dry down is mouthwatering coconut and tonka bean. PURE LOVE!"
Fragrantica - "My god....so addictive. Tried every dupe or reminds me fragrance, nope. This is heaven. Opening is strong pepper cardamom. Drydown is coconut tuberose, ylang ylang ambery heaven. Performance wise, we've all said it, not great, but not that bad either. It's more of a skin scent but when I underspray this one, two wrists that's it, I do smell it all day."
Fragrantica - "It gives me that feeling of when you go to the beach, and you've been out there for a while, and you can smell the coconut scented sun screen you're wearing of course, but also something else, there's a lot more here. I get the smell of body sweat (in a good way), salt, and woody sand grasses. This perfume truly takes me to a long day at the beach. When I am feeling dull and gray, it picks me up. I love that it manages to be sunshine in a bottle and complex at the same time. Truly a feat."
