Tom Ford Vert Boheme is one of the fragrances in Tom Ford’s exclusive Private Blend line and part of a four fragrance collection called Les Extraits Vert that was launched in 2016. It presents new interpretations of the classic "green" notes in perfumery. These four fragrances are all unisex and include Vert des Bois, Vert Boheme, Vert d’Encens and Vert de Fleur. The perfumer is Olivier Gillotin. The Tom Ford Vert line is definitely pulling on some of the major these of perfume in the '70s.
Inspired by a bohemian lifestyle, Vert Boheme blends green notes with a gorgeous set of florals, making a beautiful, creamy as well as earthy fragrance.
Notes of galbanum, Sicilian mandarin, magnolia, honeysuckle, violet leaf and gustavia superba.
Tom Ford Private Blend has released a prodigious number of fragrances, ranging from the amazing to the weird to the slightly kinky. Not all of them are masterpieces, but they usually are as interesting as Tom Ford himself.
From Kafkaesque - "Vert Boheme is a clean, fresh, green and feminine (not unisex) floral eau de parfum that follows a classical 1970s style. It reminded me a lot of a mix of YSL‘s vintage Rive Gauche, Diorissimo, and Chanel‘s Cristalle, given a modern touch through a heavy dose of clean musk."
From Best Men's Colognes - "Seasonally, I’d call it spring to early summer. It feels as if it’d be fine in a range of temperatures, except maybe toward the higher end of the spectrum. The green and floral aspects bring to mind a spring garden or walking along the edge of the woods, and Vert Boheme really fits that mood."
