Fragrantica - "I love this scent! I tried a roller ball, and I'm going to have to get the full line. This scent drove my boyfriend insane. I have a conservative collection of fragrances, but I go through a lot of trail sizes and I make him rate them all. After he smelled this one he immediately said its his favorite I've ever worn, ever. I've tried plenty of gourmands, ambers, vanillas, fresh scents, clean scents, florals, musk's, everything and he's never been very impressed. With this one he kept following me around just to smell the fragrance!"
Fragrantica - "Considering their recent rebranding and advertisement that this “smelled like you”, I naturally considered that it might be close to Glossier You. Bare is Glossier You but with a sexier, slightly sweeter personality. I do not get the sharpness in this fragrance that I sometimes smell in Glossier You (some folks say they get a pencil shavings smell, my nose tends to interpret it as more of a fresh magazine paper smell), but rather a silky warm that isn’t too spicy or artificially sweet. It is softer, slightly sweeter, and in my opinion has a little bit more longevity. I love both, and actually just finished a whole bottle of Glossier You, but I think that in terms of a your skin but better scent, Bare is the winner. Over the past couple of days of wearing it, I will often ask myself “what smells so good?” and then quickly realize it is me. Overall, I am very impressed and will probably purchase a full size one I have run through my rollerball."
Fragrantica - " bought this yesterday at VS after initially spraying it on my wrist and shopped for a bit then left to really give it time for me to decide if it warranted a purchase or not. Well, needless to say, I went right back into Vs and of course I bought it! I would have kicked myself if I didn't walk out of there with this beauty! It is such a pleasant, feminine classic type of scent. I think anyone of any age can wear this. I should have bought the lotion to layer it with, but I know I'll be back to pick that up too sometime this week. You guys have to smell it! I don't really see the comparison between Glossier's "You" and this one- I actually own both and like the VS Bare 10 times better!"
