Questionable Longevity
Of all the Xerjoff I've tried this one has the worst longevity, maybe 3hrs tops. But it smells sooooooo good!!!
Golden Dallah is part of Xerjoff's Coffee Break Collection. The scent is a tribute to Arab coffee culture and has taken its name from "Dallah", a traditional Arabic coffee pot used for brewing and serving coffee for holidays, such as Eid al-Fitr.
The Arabic coffee is spicy and bitter, like the opening of this fragrance. Notes of exotic spices blend with coffee absolute, rose absolute, amber and get a smoky twist of incense and Cambodian oud. The perfume is balanced and gives a full scent of chocolate and tonka bean. One part dark and mysterious, one part delicious and uplifting, Golden Dallah is the moment of escape we can all use right now.
Golden Dallah features notes of coffee absolute, rose absolute, incense, Cambodian oud, amber, hazelnut, cocoa and tonka hyper essence. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Basenotes review:
From the gorgeous bottle to the exotic potion within, Xerjoff's "Coffee Break: Golden Dallah" - a spicy oriental wonder - is quite a fragrant experience! Golden Dallah is a reference to a fancy, metallic dispenser from which coffee can be poured, utilized in Middle East countries.
This is a medium strength EdP with definite cocoa, hazelnut, tonka, incense and amber notes present, creating a yummy, smoky aura. There is a just-discernible touch of rose around the edges, and a fairly clean woody oud in the heart. Great performance and a memorable scent!
