Zara x Jo Loves Leather Jardin Reviews
Fragrantica: Hot Sauce. Yep.. like Tabasco. I believe it comes from the leather, which happens to be what I enjoy most about this fragrance. It’s strange, dirty, but I will say, the leather is quite alluring. It’s like no leather I’ve ever smelt. It’s feminine, yet unruly, and this fragrance in total just feels like a “F*ck you”, to traditional feminine fragrances. It takes it’s own path, and it isn’t afraid to go there. I respect it’s bravado. There’s something floral/green in here as well (doesn’t smell like rose in my opinion), but it matures the fragrance quite a bit. It feels more like a middle aged woman than a young woman, but perhaps a young woman finding her path. Like I said, it’s sort of daring, and unapologetic. The performance just proves my point. This fragrance is kind of a beast. It lasts forever. It’s pushing 10 hours right now after a few sprays on my wrist. With the first 3 hours projecting solidly. I can’t help but feel like this one could have benefited from something more smoky. Incense maybe, or burning woods. That being said, I can appreciate it for what it is, and I could see myself wearing it when I feel like taking a risk.
Fragrantica: This wonderful, crafty scent, reminding of 60s and 70s, smells way beyond expectations! It is a decadent yet elegant version of known classics and smells incredibly expensive. It reminds of Caleche, and Kelly Caleche by Hermes ( floral leather scent ), Un Jardin Sur La Lagune Hermès and an old Shalimar by Guerlain, Leathery Acqua di Parma and even Bottega Veneta. Powdery leather, with a floral touch, timeless and unapologetic. With this you should wear a 70s dress with leather boots and fur or heavy wool scarf. You can also wear a silk blouse and a leather jacket with a nice french scarf. It is not for a typical teenager or a commercial taste.
Fragrantica: This one really surprised me. I love the blend of leather, smoke, spices and fruity notes. Very well blended, loving this. It’s spicy, sweet and woody. Leather is more dominant in the dry down. I hope they don’t discontinue it.
