Chabaud Lait Concentre was launched in 2014, created by Sophie Chabaud. This plush lactonic fragrance has notes of milk, coconut and caramel. Chabaud Lait Concentre is an eau de toilette, edt. With all lactonic fragrances, it is good to sample first because some can smell sour to some people and absolute perfection to others!
From the brand - "Lait Concentré evokes a childhood memory that is connected to the popular and delicious condensed milk. It is fairylike, like a transparent veil, which merges smoothly with the skin, like a fleeting memory that you can just hold on to with your fingertips - a delicious and ethereal eau de toilette.At the beginning of the fragrance we encounter bright milk notes, which remind us of the delicious concentrated milk, which the French confectioner Nicolas Appert invented in the 19th Century. The light and seemingly transparent fragrance continues with a slighty tart, unsweetened coconut and closes with restrained caramel notes."
Fragrantica - "I didn't know it was possible for a scent to mimic any edible item as closely as this one does - this is undoubtedly EXACTLY what a tin of condensed milk smells like - sweet, creamy with the tiniest hint of coconut and butter. This smells exactly like a milkshake lolly that I loved growing up - the main ingredient of these candies being condensed milk. It is definitely very sweet, but not cloying. This is a scent that does stay close to the skin but is absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a creamy, lactonic sweet scent - look no further!

Fragrantica - "Upon first application this smells EXACTLY like a freshly opened can of coconut milk on me. Soon enough it morphs into a nearly photorealistic warm milk scent, like a mug of milk fresh off the stove with just the tiniest hint of something sweet to help you sleep. Maybe a little buttery - this is whole milk, the real deal, no skim or 1% in this house. Honestly it's incredibly nice and immediately comforting. I actually don't get the super sweet aspect lots of people seem to, it really is just warm milk for me. Like...it's almost so realistic its slightly disconcerting, in a nice way."
Fragrantica - "This is straight up condensed milk in a bottle, and I LOVE it. It goes straight to my scent memory because it reminds me of making fudge with my grandma when we’d cook the evaporated milk and sugar together. It’s not for everyone, but I am head over heels in love with it. It’s a more intimate perfume, it sits very close to my skin but I’m not mad at it, because it’s still somewhat niche in whether or not someone would like it. Despite it sitting close to my skin, it does last quite a while though, I wore it to work and it didn’t start to fade until I got home like eight hours later."
Fragrantica - "The most photo-realistic milk scent I've ever smelt. I've been using my sample for soo long and now I've finally purchased the whole bottle. I think the milk note is my favourite in perfumes, but this one is so real that I wasn't sure if it's even wearable as a perfume. I am still not 100% sure about that, but I know that I love it. I get excited about a lot of scents, but I think this one is the winner in "can't stop smelling myself", because I know the smell for a long time, but get stunned every time I smell my wrist. Plus, it's a first perfume my dog actually licks off me, she's obsessed."
Fragrantica - "This is exactly like sweetened condensed milk. Exact. 100% photorealistic. I love some gourmand sweet smells but wow this is hefty. It’s sort of gag worthy at first whiff. But mellows out to a powerful sweet caramel smell. I can see this being someone’s all time fav. Aaaand someone else’s total nightmare. This would be the worst blind buy ever. I was expecting it to be similar strength to Chabaud Lait De Biscuit or Lait de Vanille but this is much more powerful."

You can definitely smell hints of the coconut which I am not a fan of however once it dries down on my skin, It smells lactonic, fresh and ultra milky. This perfume is very lactonic and when I asked my best friend to describe what it smelled like on me, She said that I smelled like I just took a bath in powdered milk"
