Surrender to Chance will ship to all countries except Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil (International Priority Mail ONLY), Brunei Darussalam, Dominican Republic, Equador, Faroe Islands, India (International Priority Mail ONLY), Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait,  Mexico, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russian Federation (International Priority Mail ONLY), Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sudan, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen and Zimbabwe.

 

Seizure and destruction by customs is not the responsibility of Surrender to Chance.  Please note your country's policies on perfume shipments.  If you wish to have your order shipped via UPS or FedEx to ensure it reaches you, please ask us for a quote for shipping cost.  UPS and FedEx will collect any duties/import fees on delivery, and the customer is responsible for those charges.

 

 

 

 

 

Order Fulfillment 

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. We pride ourselves on shipping your order as fast as possible, usually within two (2) business days after it is placed, although in some cases we may need up to four business days to fulfill your order. Holidays and sales may result in longer shipping times, despite our best effort to minimize that. 

Occasionally some product will run out of stock due to large orders that come in before inventory is updated. This may result in a delay in shipping just that item or your entire order. We will notify you in the event that happens. 

 

Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed with Surrender to Chance, you will receive an order confirmation. You can log into your account and view your order and status. 

  

Shipping Information

We will send you an email letting you know that your order has shipped. You can also log into your account at any time and see the shipping status of all of your orders. (Please note that if you receive a shipping notice over the weekend or on a Federal Holiday, your package will be going into the mail the next day that the Post Office is open.)

We can only ship to your billing address until you have been a customer for a minimum of three months. Shipping to any address other than your billing address must be approved.  

We may also request smaller orders, less than $100.00, from some international addresses until we can complete successful shipping and confirmation in writing. This is an effort to help this small business reduce fraud.  

 

A Word About Delivery Confirmation Numbers

 

Due to COVID we are seeing delays in package movement in some US hubs and in some international countries.  We are seeing some international packages take 2 months to deliver depending on how it moves overseas, plane or boat. We are seeing most international orders deliver.  6/13/21 we are seeing international packages now moving to other US hubs to exit which may be helpful as Chicago seems very bogged down.  

Each U.S. order is shipped with delivery confirmation. This is not a "tracking number," as the USPS does not offer real-time tracking information. It is typical that the USPS website will have no information on the package until the package either reaches its destination or reaches the nearest postal sorting facility. The delivery confirmation number is helpful, however, in showing if a package has been miss-delivered or returned to sender. (International orders will show the customs form number. Again, this is not a tracking number. However, if a package is held at customs, the USPS may show that information on its website.) 

Normally the USPS will deliver your package within a week or less for domestic and within two weeks for international. During peak shipping times, and to some International destinations, this average delivery time may get longer. Please contact us if your package has not delivered - 2 weeks for domestic and 4 weeks for international during normal shipping dates - from the ship date. If your package was insured we will need to allow 3 weeks for domestic and 45 days for International packages before we can file an insurance claim.  

Shipping charges include delivery confirmation on domestic packages. Please contact us if you believe your package has gone astray and has not delivered in the time we allow for delivery. 

  

Returns, Exchanges, Replacements, Refunds

We absolutely guarantee that the sample or decant of perfume you purchase from Surrender to Chance is the genuine, authentic perfume taken from the manufacturer’s bottle and decanted by hand. We unfortunately cannot guarantee that you will like it, you may even hate it. Therefore, once you have opened the product and used it, it cannot be returned for a refund.

We carefully wrap all packages so your purchase will arrive safely. Sometimes the Post Office seems to let gorillas in to jump up and down on the package. If you get our package and the bottle has broken or leaked, please snap a photo and e-mail the photo and order number to us with a note stating which bottles were damaged. Upon receipt of the photo(s), we will send a replacement package for the damaged items. 

We ask that you please inspect your package upon receipt and notify us within five days if there is a problem.
