Diptyque Philosykos Reviews

Now Smell This - "It smells like the whole fig grove, including the trees and the warm earth, and while the fig note itself is sweet and creamy, the sweetness is tempered by other notes and is never overwhelming."

Fragrantica - "Fresh, green leaves and sweet, juicy figs. A lot of perfumes with fruit can very sweet but this definitely isn't that. Subtle yet intriguing. Like being actually out among the fig trees"

Fragrantica - "To me, this is a summer perfection – such a naturally smelling fresh scent. It reminds me of what plucking green leaves from peach and apricot trees feels like. There is a subtle fruitiness to it, but without the typical sweet overload, which makes it an ideal unisex fragrance."

    Unique

For me, Philosykos is the life of a fig tree. The head notes are baby fig leaves. The heart brings in the young green fig fruit and the base is the fully mature fruit and wood of the fig tree. It is unique(to me) and lovely.

    A light, fig fragrance

If you like the scent of figs, then you probably will like this fragrance. For me, there wasn't a lot of staying power. My skin soaked it up within minutes. I wanted to see how this compared to Jo Malone's "Wild Fig And Cassis, and Jo Malone won me over. It lasts a lot longer and the scent is a lot fresher.

    Elegant!

Aurea soft and penetrating, the fig is something surreal when compared with common scents today differs stands. Wonderful people say!
