Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood was released in 2015. Created by Francis Kurkdjian, it has notes of Agarwood, Bulgarian rose, benzoin, Turkish rose, violet and vanilla. A rich, pungent fragrance with lovely violet touches, just gorgeous.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Its very intoxicating and to me this smells like a sweet caramelised rose scent. The oud isn't overpowering in this which is how i like it but blends well with the whole fragrance and gives it that luxurious scent. This is a powerful fragrance and the sillage is enormous and lasts forever."
Fragrantica - "Dark, luxurious, mysterious, and sexy. I can imagine wearing this to a really important event and standing out from everyone else there (and smelling better than them too!). This is special. The fragrance lives up to the name- the oud is quite literally soft like satin. Very elegant and sexy!"
Fragrantica - "As for Oud Satin Mood, imagine praying with a traditional rosary (the beads were originally made of dried rose buds, hence the name) during a heavily incensed Catholic church service. The rosary happens to be soaked in raw honey stolen from bees who feast solely on violets. "
Fragrantica - "Hands down one of the BEST from MFK and a Masterpiece ( IMHO) So well blended but also like a living breathing creature is constantly morphing, and every stage of that evolution is better then the previous one..Ohh I love this fragrance soooo..."
Fragrantica - "I absolutely love Oud Satin Mood! The scent does develop over time so what you spray will not be what you are left with in the end. On the dry down you are left with a jammy rose covered with a heaping topping of a creamy sweetened vanilla, and a respectful amount of oud, with a sprinkle of violet and benzoin on top that brings this fragrance together in the most wonderful way."
