Xyrena is a compound of two terms - XY (the male and female chromosomes) and RENA (from the Latin word renascor which means "to be renewed or reborn). It also means “enchanter” in Old Greek. From Xyrena's website: Nosferatu is based on F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu which undoubtedly pioneered the horror genre. It is a gothic parfum that captures the film’s macabre legacy. It opens with a note of cracked peppercorn, its warm spiciness melding with dried wildflowers, like forgotten bouquets scattered across the cobblestone streets of Wisborg, and a bitter touch of wormwood, a nod to the creeping unease that follows Count Orlok’s shadow. At its heart, the fragrance delves deeper into foreboding beauty with a chilling mineralic stone accord, conjuring the cold, damp walls of an ancient Carpathian castle, balanced by the ominous allure of black dahlia and the seductive, otherworldly sweetness of lush plum.
