Amouage Jubilation 25 Woman is one of the creations of Amouage artistic director, Christopher Chong.  Amouage Jubilation 25 Woman was created to celebrate Amouage's 25th Anniversary.  It is a rich chypre that is elegant and joyful, a tribute to the perfume classics, while it classification bends through chypre and oriental and spicy.  To quote Marina "It is as if Femme Rochas and Lutens’s Arabie had a passionate love affair, which resulted in a child who inherited Femme’s chic voluptuousness and the very French élan and Arabie’s dark good looks and tantalizing mysteriousness."

Amouage Jubilation 25 Woman Reviews

Fragrantica: This is a superb modern chypre (sans oakmoss). Sophisticated, complex, skanky, and illuminated by a solar peach note."

Fragratnica: "Jubilation is lovely - it is an intriguing oriental floral chypre - rich, complex, intriguing, joyful, warm, captivating, the kind of fragrance that you spray on yourself just so that you can enjoy basking in the rich, warm luxury of its intriguing and beautiful complex blend. Warm, elegant, sophisticated, complex, beautiful perfume."

Parfumo: "It wasn't love at first sniff that's for certain, but it does have a fascinatingly unique aura that is quite captivating to say the least. Needless to say, I'm impressed."

    Liquid sensuality

I'm thinking this is more a woody-oriental. I love all of its stages. The opening i get the vetiver /patchouli/lemon and a touch of pencil shavings (all slightly peppery and sweaty but alluring sweat, not repellant body odor). The sweet ambery notes come out in the middle and the end is faint rose, musk, and incense. I find it more fem then masculine, but could be a unisex fragrance. It seems to have fair longevity- could still smell it after 8 hours but grew faint. A male friend told me it smelled "like a rich old lady" which by that I believe he meant a sophisticated, mature woman who knows how to access the finer things the world has to offer. I took it as a high compliment ;-)

    Heady and magical.

This is a brilliant formulation by a velvet-gloved steel hand--more powerful than strong, more perfectly balanced than soft. The effect is presence. Queenly presence! A heady blend of deep, deep scents that deliver an other-wordly experience that I never knew a perfume could evoke on its own little lonesome! Longest-lasting perfume on my skin, it's still with me in the morning.

    It's not me. It's you.

Amouage, you were supposed to love me. I wanted to love your whole family. After all, Lyric Woman is one of my most precious perfumes. What happened? The quality of Jubilation 25 is obvious to anyone who tests it, there's no doubt about that fact. But if perfume evokes emotion and embellishes one's image, this one lacks - for me - whatever element is necessary to transform it from an intriguing scent into one that announces "a female has entered the room, and she's lovely". I've passed this along to my husband and it smells delightful on him. For me, my heart is broken, but I'll live.
