Tom Ford Lavender Palm is one of the third round fragrances released in the Private Blend collection. Inspired by Los Angeles, this fragrance has zesty citrus and earthy vetiver and moss enveloped in a luscious warm lavender.

Reviews of Tom Ford Lavender Palm

From Bois de Jasmin - "Lavender Palm opens on a delicious herbal note that is at once sweet and savory. The zesty accents of citrus provide a vibrant contrast to the earthy and green base of vetiver and oakmoss. As the composition develops, Lavender Palm reveals the full spectrum of lavender–the roasted almond sweetness, the floral softness and the aromatic intensity. It feels at once exhilarating and sensual, which is something that took me by surprise. I usually associate lavender notes with something clean and wholesome, and I appreciate a more seductive take. The mossy notes lend the fragrance an appealing salty twist, while the green accents cut through the lush density of its lavender accord. The drydown smells like warm skin, sea breeze and crushed leaves."

From Colognoisseur - "Here is where things take that contemporary turn. M. Vasnier uses clary sage, aldehydes, moss, and palm leaves to form a lavender accord that is at turns salty and creamy. It seemingly transforms minute-by-minute. It remains one of the most unique lavender accords I have experienced. A soft resinous base is where this ends."

    It would be nice

if we were all bi, then the whole age appropriate world would be open to us. But, it's just not so. So too, as much as a perfume wants to be unisex, it just can't always be so. Such is Lavender Palm. It smells nice, but I have to say it's not girly enough for me. It most reminds me of a manly Estee Lauder Aliage. The citrus is the dominant scent here, with the lavender way in the background. I gave would have given it a 4 if it wasn't quite so broad-shoulders lemon and oakmoss. I suggest that men give it a try.
