4160 Tuesdays Burnt Cedar Rainbow Doves is a smoky floral eau de parfum launched in 2019, created by perfumer Sarah McCartney. It began as a London Craft Week collaboration with The Beaumont Hotel and was inspired by the composer, writer and British eccentric Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson, 14th Baron Berners. It has notes of cedar, wild rose, mock orange, geranium, moss, musk, civet and sugared almonds.
From the brand - "A fragrance built on a contradiction of sugared almonds with cedar bonfires, insecurely connected by wild rose, orange blossom and moss, inspired by the accomplished eccentric, Lord Berners. It evokes his outrageous parties, where the Bright Young Things danced themselves silly."
Fragrantica - "It opens up unabashedly green, smoky and woody, but very quickly morphs into a delicate powdered sexual skin note, like something Marlou would sell. A soft gentle musk, powdered skin, with a very small hint of lust. ... All I can say is don't judge this by it's opening. ..."
Fragrantica - "I absolutely adore this perfume. Mysterious, playful, woodsy, and warm - sweet but not an innocent fragrance. It has so much depth, and truly evolves while it’s on your skin. ..."
Fragrantica - "Princess cake. The really expensive, perfectly made kind from a patisserie that has queues on Sunday. Princess cake eaten outside by a group of bright young things, who eat with their fingers, are good friends, and sometimes lovers. Really enjoyed wearing this."
