Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Bergamotto di Calabria EDT is a unisex Woody aromatic fragrance that was launched in 2010. It celebrates Calabria and the authentic bergamot DOP (Protected Designation of Origin). Because it is only in a restricted area of 1500 hectares in the deep south of the peninsula, along the coast of Calabria washed by the Ionian Sea, that authentic DOP bergamot is produced: an essential oil extracted from the symbolic citrus fruit of the Reggio Calabria province. Almost 90% of the world’s bergamot production comes from here in Calabria.
The fragrance features top notes of Calabrian bergamot DOP and citron; middle notes of cedarwood and red ginger; and base notes of vetiver, benzoin and musk. It is an eau de toilette, edt.
